PKP Polish Railway Lines Company is a manager of national rail network. Our basic product is a timetable constructed in compliance with our customer’s order – the customer being a passenger or freight rail operator. The product is sold within a contract defining an allocated train path.

The basic tasks performed by the Company are the following:

•    provision of an access to railway lines for rail operators on non-discriminatory basis
•    modernization of railway lines aimed at their adaptation to EU standards
•    construction of timetables
•    running the rail traffic on the rail network
•    maintenance of rail infrastructure in a due technical condition to secure rail traffic safety
•    cooperation with rail infrastructure managers of neighbouring countries.
